Ohio’s premier amateur mixed martial arts promotion, Rocktagon MMA, recently announced that their highly touted “Amateur Elite” MMA series will follow up their West Coast debut on September 10. In true Rocktagon MMA style, “Battle on the Bay” will feature the best in amateur MMA talent. The fight card is stacked with compelling match-ups and features many of California’s rising MMA stars. “Battle on the Bay II” will take place this Saturday at the spectacular Craneway Pavilion in Point Richmond, California. The Red Carpet Experience presents a night of music, fashion and ambiance all in one night. The night will start with a private reception that honors leaders that are making a difference within their communities. Blair Underwood has forged several partnerships that encompass community organizations such as, Richmond Pal, Berkeley Youth Alternatives, El Cerrito High School, the James Morehouse Project, and the Blair Underwood’s health and wellness program. These organizations will partake in this event by adding flavor to the Fashion show that will highlight the new Blair Underwood fall line that will be available at all K&G Superstores in November 2011. 
 
This is only the beginning; while patrons stroll about the Craneway Pavilion they can enjoy the waterfront view of all the adjacent bridges.  The V.I.P section and Cabanas will have the comfort of being at home and the visibility to capture all that’s going on within the venue. This is not only about a show, but a lifestyle. The Red Carpet Experience wants to provide you with a moment that will be unforgettable. This star-studded event will feature recording artist Robin Thicke, Faith Evans, Ginuwine, El Debarge and debuting Sydney Nycole. During the daytime, we have classes for all levels, even for people who have never tried AcroYoga before! Friday day-long intensives are an opportunity to do in-depth study, while the Main Festival offers over 100 classes to choose from. Our international faculty includes master teachers in the respective fields of yoga, acrobatics and Thai massage, as well as over 50 certified AcroYoga teachers from around the world. At night, we welcome the greater community to join us for unique evenings of celebration and entertainment, including circus performances, dance parties, bodywork exchanges, and kirtan. This year we are in partnership with Africa Yoga Project and a portion of our proceeds will go to benefit the programs of AYP in Kenya. We are joined by AYP founder and AcroYoga teacher Paige Elenson, who will be teaching about African acrobatics and the yoga of service alongside key members of AYP from Kenya! Be sure to join us for the Give Love Bodywork Benefit on Saturday night, where we will be giving love in the form of first class therapeutic flights, and all proceeds from this event will benefit AYP.
