The 45th Annual KPFA Winter Crafts Fair is returning to Craneway Pavilion in Richmond this year. The fair will be held on Saturday and Sunday, December 19 and 20, 2015, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day. This is a highly anticipated annual event, which benefits KPFA 94.1 FM Public Radio.
The fair will feature over two hundred exhibitors. Exhibitors are jury-selected for their talent in creating innovative, contemporary art in a wide variety of media. It will be a great place to find unique, one-of-a kind, hand-crafted holiday gifts for everyone on your list.
The main exhibit at the fair this year is "Conversations in Fiber," a presentation of contemporary quilts designed by regional masters of the craft. Guests can learn all about quilting and view a collection of amazing, rare quilts, created by three Bay Area women. The quilters will be there to answer questions and discuss their inspirations and techniques.
