Assemble Restaurant is currently open for lunch only at Ford Point, directly on the Richmond waterfront and in the shadow of the massive, Albert Kahn-designed Craneway Pavilion (see the gorgeous views).
To refresh your memory, Assemble is the project from Richard Mazzera (Cesar) and his wife Terumi Shibata (Corso), set in the restaurant space that was formerly Boilerhouse. They’ve got big plans for the 120-seat restaurant — outdoor gardens, dinners, catering, etc. — but for now it’s a lunch-only affair, Monday through Saturday. American cuisine, with a seafood focus, is the name of the game. Dinner is expected to begin at the end of the month.
Assemble: 1414 Harbour Way South, Richmond. (510) 215-6025 or assemblerestaurant.com
