Thousands of sailing aficionados visited the 2016 Strictly Sail Pacific Boat Show in its new location on the waterfront in Richmond, Calif., from Thursday, April 7 through Sunday, April 10.
The West Coast’s largest all-sail boat show filled the Craneway Pavilion and Marina Bay Yacht Harbor with new sailboats, gear, accessories, hardware, more than 100 seminars, hands-on workshops, advanced sailing classes, model boat races and more.
“This was our largest display ever at the Strictly Sail Pacific Boat Show, and we were thrilled with our in-water island space at the new venue,” said JK3 Yachts President Jeff Brown.
The four-day sailing spectacular featured all that was hot in the world of sailing including several debuts for showgoers.
“The Craneway Pavilion was such an impressive venue – a great move for the Strictly Sail Pacific Boat Show,” said Mantus Anchors CEO Gregory Kutsen. “Mantus Anchors was busy all weekend with steady crowds throughout the show – vendors were happy and customers seemed pleased. We’re already looking forward to next year.”
The Strictly Sail Pacific Boat Show will return next year Thursday, April 6 to Sunday, April 9 at Craneway Pavilion located at 1414 Harbour Way S., and the nearby Marina Bay Yacht Harbor, in Richmond, Calif.
The City of Richmond offers some of the best waterfront access in the San Francisco Bay Area, including more than 32 miles of shoreline with access to the San Francisco Bay Bike Trail connecting nearby Albany, Emeryville and Oakland, making Richmond the perfect host destination for all that is sailing.
